The citadel and shakhristan are fortified with a fortress wall. It consists of the western and eastern parts. In the eastern part there are 2 courtyards, where residential, utility and guard/barracks premises are found along the perimeter. In the western part there are 4 guard rooms. In general, the complex consists of 13 rooms containing soufs, hearths, stoves and 2 iwans with summer soufs and tandoori.
