The preservation of historical and cultural heritage, the restoration of historical authenticity and the creation of a sense of complete presence are the main messages of the archaeological open-air park in the “Kultobe Settlement”. For the scientific restoration of the most significant archaeological sites of the settlement and implementation of the project has been developed, based on a modern scientific methodology and recommendations of UNESCO.
This project is a set of plans and visual 3D models of conservation and partial restoration of individual elements. Among them: a fortified temple, a citadel of the Kangyu era, complex of premises with altars, residential buildings of landowners and artisans, pottery houses, fragments of pavement and more. The presented extensional architectural and planning answers are based on the original fragments of building walls and household details of the Kultobe settlement with archive analogues.
During the research restoration of the sites, archaeological measurements were made. Then a plan for the reconstruction of the building, facades and interiors was developed. That was the basis for 3D reconstruction of the original form of archaeological sites – showplace of the archaeological open-air park in the “Kultobe Settlement”.
