Research adviser of the “Restoration of historical sites of the Kultobe settlement” project

Professor Jansen is the organizer of a series of ICOMOS workshops on the conservation of archaeological and cultural heritage. In 2019, professor was received the Crescent of Distinction Medal the HilaleImtiaz, in recognition of his service to the archaeological discovery of the Indus Valley Civilization.

He is qualified in projects on the conservation of cultural monuments and is a consultant on the archeological sites conservation of the ancient cities of Pakistan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and other countries. Since 2019, he is a research adviser of the “Restoration of historical sites of the Kultobe settlement” project.

He has extensive experience in projects on the active conservation of cultural monuments and is a consultant on the conservation of archaeological sites of the ancient cities of Pakistan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and many other countries.

He has over 200 publications and his current research interests include city conservation, ancient civilizations, heritage management and culture studies.
